New Utility improves photo transfer process

BRIGHTON, Mich., July 7, 2003 -  See Progress has announced the initial release of it's AutoWatch™ FTP Wizard.  The software utility allows AutoWatch™ body shop users to quickly transmit photos from their computer to the See Progress photo processing server.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and is a means for transferring files between computers on the Internet.

The small PC software application installs in a matter of minutes.  After a simple initial setup, users can send photos to See Progress with a few mouse clicks.  According to Gordon Henderson, Vice President of Information Technology for See Progress, "Since our inception we have relied on Internet email for the transfer of photos into our system.  Based upon the requests of our customers and the inherent improved reliability of the FTP protocol, we developed this application to streamline our process.  The initial response from our customers has been very positive."

AutoWatch™ customers can continue to transfer photos to See Progress using their existing email methods.  The new utility is available immediately for download.
